For many seniors, visiting a denture clinic can prove problematic. They may not have access to a mode of transportation or have mobility issues that make it difficult to get around. Plus, they may be required to make multiple visits to a denture clinic for their complete treatment plan.

At In-Home Dentures, we want anyone who requires our services to be able to access them. For this reason, we have created an in-home denture care centre. Additionally, we offer the only mobile denture services in the City of Calgary. We come to you!

Serving Senior Facilities and Communities

Our goal is to provide the best denture care to our patients. In order to do so, we want you to be comfortable which is why we bring our services to your location. We will visit any senior facility, community, home, hospital or long term care residence in Calgary and its surrounding areas. We help our patients restore their smile and mouth function by offering denture care services such as complete upper and lower dentures, partial dentures, relines, repairs, alterations, dentures over implants, whitening and cleaning, and annual check-ups.

If you run a senior facility, you may have many residents who need denture care. It will become costly to organize transportation for all of them to visit a denture clinic. Since we service senior facilities, we are able to come to your location and serve as many of your residents as needed.

How does it work?

In order to restore a patient’s smile and function, there are four easy steps to follow.

1. Arrange a consultation: This is a complimentary service in which an appointment is arranged so that our licensed denturist can meet with the patient or caregiver at their location (home, facility, residence, hospital etc.).

1. Oral health exam: Our denturist will perform an oral assessment to determine the ideal treatment plan. Since each patient is unique, the oral health exam plays an important role in deciding the proper treatment plan.

1. Treatment performed: Measurements/impressions of the patient’s mouth will be taken. Afterwards, our denturist will return to our denture fabrication lab to create the dentures. This part of the denture process may require multiple visits where the patient will need to try on their dentures and they’ll be sent back to the lab for adjustments. But remember, we come to your location each time.

1. Adjusting period: Generally, it takes a few weeks to adjust to dentures since the patient’s mouth will need to accustom itself. There may also be adjustments that need to be made to the actual dentures so we offer complimentary visits during this period until our patients are fully comfortable.
